Alliance Combines Leading Mobile Workforce Management Application With Process Automation and Cost Control
Southborough, Mass. - April 30, 2002 - ViryaNet (NASDAQ: VRYA), a provider of integrated mobile and Web-based software applications for workforce management and the automation of field service delivery, today announced an alliance agreement with Eftia OSS Solutions Inc. Eftia is a leading provider of operational support system (OSS) software for wireless and wireline network service providers. ViryaNet's partnership with Eftia was originally formed through iMedeon, a
company recently acquired by ViryaNet. The agreement grants Eftia the rights to market the joint ViryaNet and iMedeon field service management application, Service Hub 7.0. As part of the agreement, the companies will integrate Service Hub 7.0 with Eftia's Master.Scribeä OSS solution.
ViryaNet Service Hub is a state-of-the-art Internet platform, from which ViryaNet deploys its mobile workforce management application and supporting applications for contract, logistics, and repair management. information to get the job done quickly and efficiently. Service Hub 7.0, which is scheduled for release in Q4 of 2002, will combine the best features of ViryaNet Service Hub and iMedeon's iM:Work to provide a complete and proven solution to manage and automate mobile field workforces.

-Improve response times on status and resolution of network trouble tickets
-Automate data retrieval
