VIRYANET SERVICE HUB CERTIFIED OVER DATARADIO NETWORK

Southborough, Mass. - May 14, 2002 - ViryaNet (NASDAQ: VRYAD), a leading provider of integrated mobile and Web-based software applications for workforce management and the automation of field service delivery, today announced that its Service Hub product has been certified over the Dataradio network. Dataradio, Inc. is a leading designer, developer, and manufacturer of private wireless data products and networks.
