BGE HOME GOES LIVE WITH VIRYANET SERVICE HUB

Southborough, Mass. - October 2, 2002M - ViryaNet (NASDAQ: VRYA), a provider of integrated mobile and Web-based software applications for workforce management and the automation of field service delivery, today announced that BGE HOME, a member of the Constellation Energy Group, has deployed ViryaNet Service Hub. Using ViryaNet Service Hub, BGE HOME, a provider of appliance, plumbing, and HVAC sales and services, will maintain its service contract business.
