Southborough, Mass. - April 11, 2001 - ViryaNet (NASDAQ: VRYA), a provider of wireless workforce management solutions for field service communities, today announced that Lockheed Martin Naval Electronics & Surveillance Systems (NE&SS) - Surface Systems is using ViryaNet's Service Hub as a part of its Supply Chain Management solution for its Logistics Command Center.
Lockheed Martin's Logistics Command Center, located in Mt. Laurel, NJ, is a central repository and clearing house for all logistics and supply chain management information required to support contracts for the Department of Defense and commercial customers. The Center will use ViryaNet Service Hub to manage inventory, global shipping and receiving, and parts request processing. ViryaNet Service Hub also
will provide detailed reporting and analysis.
