VIASOURCE SELECTS VIRYANET SERVICE HUB
April 17, 2001

Leading, nationwide enabler of broadband technologies selects ViryaNet's Service Hub as a strategic investment to enhance workforce efficiency and differentiate its services in the broadband deployment industry

Southborough, Mass. - April 17, 2001 - ViryaNet (NASDAQ: VRYA), a provider of wireless workforce management solutions for field service communities, and Viasource Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ: VVVV), a leading broadband technology deployment organization, jointly announced today that Viasource has selected ViryaNet's Service Hub solution for workforce management and supply chain logistics. Viasource will use Service Hub to extend the range of services that it provides to its clients and end-users and improve its operations. Viasource serves major broadband service companies with a range of at-home and in-business installation, training, and fulfillment services throughout the United States.

"Getting connected is what it's all about. With the demand for broadband services rapidly increasing, our clients rely on Viasource more and more to provide solutions to ensure their customers get connected and stay connected. Faster deployment times, customer education, on-time arrival and technical expertise are all part of delivering the best customer experience. After all, our field engineers are often the only people who visit face-to-face with the end-users. It's all about loyalty and the lasting value of that initial experience," said Craig Russey, CEO of Viasource.

"Our strategy has always been to have the best equipped and trained technicians able to do everything from installation to customer training. Automating the complete workflow process through the use of wireless data devices that constantly connect our technicians to our support environment will allow them to deliver the best possible customer experience in the most efficient and cost-effective manner," added Russey. "When we looked for a supplier of a suitable workflow automation system, strength of product and our desire for an integral 'partner' were critical. While evaluating numerous products, we found ViryaNet met all of our requirements. They have a robust system that we believe is capable of handling all of our needs and they have extensive knowledge of our industry."

Viasource will use Service Hub to schedule and dispatch its workforce, manage the work order and invoicing process, track assets, and enable customer self service. As part of this solution, Viasource will implement ClickSchedule, a schedule optimization solution from ClickSoftware. Service Hub and ClickSchedule will help Viasource maximize customer satisfaction while minimizing operational costs. The combined solution will ensure that the right technician arrives at the right place, at the right time, with the right equipment - based on customer preferences, priority, skills, accurate availability, drive time, and other factors.

"Viasource has experienced tremendous growth over the past year, and has reached a point where it is appropriate for the Company to go to the next level and implement a solution to increase the efficiency of its field service operations and broaden its service offerings," said Win Burke, CEO and president, ViryaNet. "We look forward to helping Viasource as it strives to become the premier broadband technology deployment organization."
