Southborough, Mass. - May 31, 2001 - ViryaNet (NASDAQ: VRYA), a provider of wireless workforce management solutions for field service communities, today announced that it has become a Select Member of the Palm Alliance Program. ViryaNet also announced the availability of its Service Hub for Wireless Workforce Management solution for PalmÔ VII series wireless handheld computers(1), in addition to ongoing support and availability of its Service Hub solution for Palm III and V series handhelds.

ViryaNet offers a comprehensive wireless workforce management solution that encompass all stages of service delivery, resource planning and utilization, performance evaluation, strategic decision making, and service process design and implementation. Now, at the touch of a button on a Palm VII series wireless handheld, mobile field engineers can receive work orders, inquire about customer profiles, review contract terms and customer entitlements, drill down into product history, and determine parts availability - critical information to better and efficiently manage customer relationships.
