CTO, Industry Thought Leader, and Author to Lead Engineering Research and Development of Company's Internet Offerings
Waltham, Mass. - April 3, 2000 - ViryaNet, a leading global provider of business-to-business Internet platform solutions for service communities, today announced the promotion of Ron Ben-Natan to chief technology officer and senior vice president of engineering. In this new position, Mr. Ben-Natan will oversee the company's technology strategy, including design, development and implementation of Service Hub, its B-to-B Internet platform for service communities.

Prior to his tenure at ViryaNet, Mr. Ben-Natan held positions at Intel, AT&T Bell Laboratories, Merrill Lynch, and J.P. Morgan. Mr. Ben-Natan has a Ph.D. in computer science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he focused on the field of distributed computing.
A frequent presenter at industry events, Mr. Ben-Natan speaks on a variety of technology and e-service topics.
