Seasoned Professional to Provide Consultative Assistance to Organizations Transitioning to e-Service, Manage Rapidly Growing Team of Sales Engineers
Waltham, Mass. - April 13, 2000 - ViryaNet, a leading global provider of business-to-business Internet platform solutions for service communities, today announced the promotion of Jeff Oskin to Vice President of Sales Engineering. In this position, Mr. Oskin will manage a team of sales engineers who support ViryaNet's expanding sales initiatives and provide consultative technical assistance to prospective customers in the telecommunications, high technology, and industrial
automation industries who wish to transition their existing service processes to the Internet.

Prior to joining ViryaNet, Mr. Oskin served as director of global service operations for Teradyne, Inc., where he managed a global logistics and repair operation supporting the highly demanding semiconductor capital equipment market. He also held various management positions within Teradyne's service organization.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Renesselaer Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Boston University.
