Strategic Relationship Offers Solution to Integrate Service Communities, Migrate Existing Service Processes to the Web, and Increase Efficiency and Profitability

Waltham, Mass. - April 20, 2000 - ViryaNet, a leading global provider of business-to-business Internet platform solutions for service communities, today announced a strategic alliance with Ernst & Young, a worldwide provider of professional services and consulting. Under the terms of the alliance, Ernst & Young will feature the ViryaNet Service Hub in its suite of best-of-breed operational support services (OSS) solutions for the telecommunications industry. The integration of ViryaNet's Service Hub with Ernst & Young's global OSS model is expected to help organizations improve productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability. As a systems integration partner, Ernst & Young will collaborate with ViryaNet to deliver strategic consulting services and technology solutions to suit the telecommunications service providers' specific business needs.
