ViryaNet Plans to Integrate with MetaSolv's TBS Software to Extend its Service Delivery Capabilities to Next-Generation Service Providers
SOUTHBOROUGH, Mass. - May 3, 2000 - ViryaNet, a leading global provider of business-to-business Internet platform solutions for service communities, today announced an alliance with MetaSolv Software, Inc., (Nasdaq: MSLV). The integration of ViryaNet's workforce management software application with MetaSolv's Telecom Business Solution™ (TBS™) order management and service fulfillment software will enhance delivery of field services and streamline field operations.
ViryaNet enlisted Ernst & Young's OSS Delivery Center in Dallas to assist in the development of the gateway that will integrate the respective products. Planned availability of the integration of TBS software with ViryaNet is scheduled for July 2000.

ViryaNet's workforce management application provides 100% visibility of all field operations activities, facilities, assets, and logistics, ensuring better management of costs and enabling more complete and accurate billing. The workforce management solution is a component of ViryaNet's Service Hub Internet solution, which allows customers, employees, and other service community members to access the
carrier's service information in real-time via an Internet portal, client-server graphical user interface (GUI), or wireless personal data assistant (PDA) e-access solution. The solution is deployed at several telecommunications organizations, including CapRock and ITC^DeltaCom.
