High-Tech Veteran Will Lead ViryaNet's Expanding Sales Force in North America

ViryaNet, a leading provider of business-to-business Internet solutions for service communities, today announced the promotion of Jeff Galin to vice president of North American sales. In this new position, Galin will be responsible for managing the Company's expanding sales force across the United States and Canada and for developing business within its targeted industries of telecommunications, high
technology, and industrial automation.

Prior to his promotion, Mr. Galin acted as ViryaNet's director of eastern regional sales. Before joining ViryaNet, Galin was vice president of sales at Precise Software Solutions, where he was responsible for managing the sales effort of an SQL tuning technology for Oracle databases. While at Precise, Galin also played an instrumental part in increasing the Company's overall revenue. In addition,
Galin served as regional manager, eastern United States, for Mercury Interactive, a provider of Web performance management solutions based in Sunnyvale, CA.
