ViryaVision 2010 features hands-on product demonstrations, a sharing of best practices and the ViryaNet roadmap to further innovations
Southborough, MA - June 28, 2010 - ViryaNet Limited (VRYAF.OB), a leading provider of software solutions that optimize the full cycle of scheduling and dispatch processes for field service management announced today the successful conclusion of ViryaVision 2010 - the annual company sponsored conference for customers and partners. This year ViryaVision was held over two and a half days at the Sanibel Harbour Resort & Spa in Ft. Myers, Florida. The event was sponsored by GE
Energy, General Dynamics Itronix, and SageQuest.
The conference began with a company update by Jeff Oskin, President of ViryaNet. As part of the ViryaNet Roadmap, attendees heard about the successful integration of the innovative ViryaNet G4 platform with Microsoft Office InfoPath® and a standard Business Process Management (BPM) tool. Other innovations and new applications planned for 2011 were discussed as well as how partners and customers continue to be a vital part of the process.
Several Partners and customers presented including Mike Diblasi, GE Sr. Product Specialist; Andre Cassulo, Technology Manager, Florida Power and Light; JD Miknis, Facilities and Production Engineer, and Jason Fouse, System Administrator, both from Sheetz; Mark Mitchell, Corporate Maintenance Team Lead, The Kroger Company; Cliff Garrett, System Administrator and Rob Atkinson, Superintendent System Planning, both from Laclede Gas. There were also industry roundtables targeted to specific
industries including retail and utilities.
"It's important that we keep up with all the innovations to the ViryaNet G4 platform," says JD Miknis, Facilities and Production Engineer of Sheetz. "It can only help us to work smarter," he added.
"ViryaNet's presentations were informative," said Gary Staiert, Manager - Field Resource Centers at Black Hills Energy, "and there was something very rewarding about exchanging ideas with those in my industry as well as seeing how field service is managed in other verticals," he added.
